राजधानी दिल्ली में रुक-रुक कर हो रही बारिश से अब जगह-जगह पर जलभराव देखने को मिल रहा है। दक्षिणी दिल्ली के वसंत कुंज इलाके बी-7 के गेट पर बारिश का पानी इस कदर भरा कि अब सोसायटी के अंदर ये पानी जा रहा है जिससे लोगों को दिक्कत हो रही है। पूर्व निगम पार्षद मनोज महलावत ने बताया कि नाले का निर्माण कार्य पूरा नहीं हुआ है जिसकी वजह से यह पानी उनकी सोसायटी में जा रहा है जिसकी वजह से बीमारियों का खतरा भी बढ़ रहा है।

दिल्ली को हरियाणा से पानी देने वाली बवाना मुनक नहर में देर रात एक बजे एक बड़ा हादसा हुआ। जेजे कॉलोनी की तरफ से नहर की दीवार टूट गई, जिसकी वजह से नहर का पानी आस-पास की कॉलोनियों में भर गया। पानी इतना ऊपर आया कि घरों में घुस गया और लोगों को अपने सामान खराब होने का डर सताने लगा। नहर के पास रहने वाले लोगों को रात भर पानी के बीच रहना पड़ा। वीडियो में आप देख सकते हैं कि कैसे रिहायशी इलाके में पानी भरा हुआ है। स्थानीय निवासियों ने बताया कि 10 से 15 दिन पहले ही नहर के पास से पानी लीकेज हो रहा था। पिछले कई दिनों से मुनक नहर में हरियाणा की तरफ से ज्यादा पानी छोड़ा जा रहा था, लेकिन इस पर ध्यान नहीं दिया गया, जिसके कारण यह नौबत आ गई। वहीं सुबह से बच्चों से बुजुर्ग तक सब बिना कुछ खाए इधर से उधर भटक रहे हैं।
