शाहजहाँपुर आज़ादी के अमृत महोत्सव की श्रंखला में काकोरी कांड के महानायक पंडित रामप्रसाद बिस्मिल की 125 वीं जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में एक अमृत यात्रा को उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार में वित्तमंत्री सुरेश खन्ना एव मुख्य सचिव उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार दुर्गा शंकर मिश्र ने शहीद संग्रालह से रवाना किया जो लखनऊ होते हुए पंडित रामप्रसाद के शहीदी स्थल गोरखपुर में समाप्त होगी । आज दोपहर बाद मुख्य सचिव शाहजहाँपुर पहुचे जहाँ कलेक्ट्रेड में उन्होंने विभागीय कार्यो की समीक्षा की बाद में वह शाहिद बिस्मिल के पैतृक आवास पर गये जहाँ उन्होंने उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हुए चित्र पर माल्यर्पण किया । शहीद संग्रालह में आयोजित कार्यक्रम के दौरान जनपद के पुलिस अधीक्षक एस आनंद ने शहीदे वतन रामप्रसाद बिस्मिल के रिवाल्वर को शहीद को मुख्य अतिथि वित्तमंत्री एव मुख्य सचिव के करकमलों से संग्रालह को सौंपा। वित्तमंत्री सुरेश खन्ना ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए कहा कि यह शाहजहाँपुर वासियों का सौभाग्य है कि इस धरती पर शहीदे वतन बिस्मिल जैसे महान देश भक्तों ने जन्म लिया आज उनकी 125 जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में आज शाहजहाँपुर में बहुत बड़े बड़े कार्यक्रम आयोजित किये जा रहे है और आज़ादी के अमृत महोत्सव के अंतर्गत आज शहीद के जन्मदिन के अवसर पर एक यात्रा जिसे अमृत यात्रा का नाम दिया गया उसे रवाना किया गया जो शाहजहाँपुर से लखनऊ होती हुई गोरखपुर बिस्मिल के शहीदी स्थल पर समाप्त होगी ।
Byte 2 मुख्य सचिव दुर्गा शंकर मिश्र ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए बताया कि सबसे पहले हमें आज इस बात पर गर्व महसूस जो रहा है कि आज इस मौके पर शाहजहाँपुर आने का अवसर मिला उन्होंने की शाहिद कोई आवास को संग्रालह बनाने के विषय मे मन्त्रणा करेंगे उन्होंने कहा की शीघ्र ही इस पर कार्य किया जाएगा उन्होंने कहा कि आज समीक्षा बैठक के दौरान सरकार की योजनाओं में।प्रगति लाने के आदेश दिए है ।

जनपद शाहजहांपुर कैंट क्षेत्र में प्रथम स्वतंत्रता संग्राम काकोरी कांड के महानायको पंडित रामप्रसाद बिस्मिल,ठाकुर रोशन सिंह,अशफाक उल्ला खान की स्मृति में बनाये गए शहीद संग्राहालय का लोकार्पण मुख्य अतिथि प्रदेश सरकार में वित्त एवं चिकित्सा शिक्षा मंत्री सुरेश खन्ना ने फीता काटकर किया। 9 करोड़ की लागत से बनने वाले इस संग्राहालय में क्रांतिकारियों की स्मृतियों के अलावा देश का 164 वर्ष के इतिहास को संजोया गया है।संग्राहालय की गैलिरियो में शाहजहांपुर उपलब्धियो के साथ ही 1857 की क्रांति से लेकर आजादी तक कि घटनाओं मंगल पांडे का विद्रोह,चौरी चौरा,ट्रेन लूटकांड,जेल में बंद क्रांतिकारीयो और महात्मा गांधी,सुभाषचंद्र बोस के दृश्यों को संजोया गया है।कार्यक्रम मे सांसद अरुण कुमार सागर समेत बिरग्रेडियर राजेश रमन जिलाधिकारी इंद्रविक्रम सिंह,एस. पी एस.आंनद भी मौजूद रहे।
मीडिया से बात करते हुए कैबिनेट मंत्री ने बताया की अगर व्यक्ति की इच्छा शक्ति मजबूत है तो हर कार्य को कर सकता है आज जो जनपद के शहीदों की याद में जो यह विशाल संग्राहालय बना है यह उनका बड़ा सपना था जो आज साकार हुआ है हमारे जनपद के वीर शहीदों जिसमे अशफ़ाक़ उल्ला खान ठाकुर रोशन सिंह व पंडित रामप्रसाद विस्मिल शामिल है जिन्होंने अंग्रेजो की चूले हिला कर रख दी थी जिन्होंने अंग्रेजो की दासता को लात मारते हुए अपने प्राणों की आहुति देने उचित समझा आज उन्ही की याद में इस शहीद संग्रहालय को मूर्त रूप देकर लोगो को उनके इतिहास से रूबरू कराने का प्रयास किया है ।
उन्होंने कहा कि हालांकि इस कार्य मे काफी अड़चने आई लेकिन उनके संकल्प से सारी अड़चने दूर हो गई और एक भव्य इमारत बनकर तैयार हो गई है जो आज उनके द्वारा जनता को समर्पित कर दी गई ।
