    #There has been a significant rise in cyber threats from SMS traffic or artificial inflated traffic (AIT), compelling the enterprises to pay up for unauthorized messages, or traffic generated by fraudsters via applications or bots, to infiltrate telecom networks via CPaaS (communication-platform-as-a-service) providers.

    CPaaS, or Communications Platforms as a Service, has emerged as a valuable solution for companies searching for more customizable technology stacks. AIT (artificial inflated traffic) is accounted for over 20% of global traffic in 2022, and estimates suggest a 40% rise in AIT-related incidents in 2023.

    Public phone charging stations can pose a security risk for users due to the potential for malware infections or other security threats. The FBI is warning consumers against using public phone charging stations in order to avoid exposing their devices to malicious software. Public USB stations like the kind found at malls and airports are being used by bad actors to spread malware and monitoring software.


    While public charging stations are attractive to many when devices are running critically low on battery, security experts have for years raised concerns about the risk. Just by plugging your phone into a compromised power strip or charger, your device is now infected, and that compromises all your data. It brings an opportunity for the Bad actors to load malware onto public USB charging stations to maliciously access electronic devices while they are being charged.

    Secondly, The cord you use to charge your phone is also used to send data from your phone to other devices. For instance, when you plug your iPhone into your Mac with the charging cord, you can download photos from your phone to your computer. If a port is compromised, there’s no limit to what information a hacker could take. There have even been reports of infected cables being given away as promotional gifts.

The dark web is a part of the internet that isn't indexed by search engines. You can hire hackers to attack computers for you. You can buy usernames and passwords. Not everything is illegal, the dark web also has a legitimate side. For example, you can join a chess club or BlackBook, a social network described as “the Facebook of Tor.” The terms “deep web” and “dark web” are sometimes used interchangeably, but they are not the same. Deep web refers to anything on the internet that is not indexed by and, therefore, accessible via a search engine like Google. Deep web content includes anything behind a paywall or requires sign-in credentials. However, No one really knows the size of the dark web, but most estimates put it at around 5% of the total internet.
