Jangan hanya bertumpu terhadap sumber daya alam. Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) akan menjadi isu penting di masa depan. "Presiden Jokowi meminta untuk segera digalakkan pendidikan vokasi" kata Hanif Dhakiri, Menaker. Kuncinya: kualitas, kuantitas dan persebaran. Survei Mckinsey menyebutkan Indonesia akan menjadi negara dengan ekonomi terbesar ke-7 di dunia tahun 2030. Syaratnya, 113 juta tenaga kerja terampil. "Tapi sekarang hanya ada 57 juta. Untuk menggenjot tenaga kerja terampil harus dilakukan pendidikan dan pelatihan vokasi," kata Hanif. SMK menjadi penyumbang pengangguran terbesar (11 persen). Tantangannya banyak. Mulai dari guru, prasarana dan link and match dengan industri.
