संतों ने कहा MODI सरकार का गंगा सफाई दिखावा. भारत के संत नाराज है मोदी सरकार से और उन्होंने हरिद्वार में आमरण अन्न सन्न शुरू किया है.
86-year-old former Indian Institute of Technology professor GD Agarwal, now known as Swami Gyan Swaroop Sanand on the 15th day of his fast unto death in the holy city of Haridwar today. His fast unto death is to apply pressure on the government to save the holy Ganges from dying by restoring it's incessant flow. It is believed by his followers that with his Yogic powers, he can live without food for about a month. His fast has already shaken the Indian government and Indian Water Resources minister Nitin Gadkari and his predecessor Uma Bharti have rushed letters to him pleading him to break his fast. But the unrelenting professor wants a concrete assurance and no lip service seems to be enough to placate him. The Swami is notable for his successful fast in 2009 to stop the damming of the Bhagirathi River that takes shape of Ganga in the plains.
