देश के संविधान निर्माता डॉक्टर भीमराव अंबेडकर के जन्म दिवस पर आज 14 अप्रैल को देशभर में सार्वजनिक अवकाश घोषित किया गया है। इस बारे में केन्द्र सरकार की तरफ से नोटिफिकेशन जारी करते हुए इसकी घोषणा कर दी गई थी। लेकिन बाराबंकी जिले में कुछ इंस्टिट्यूट और कुछ प्राइवेट विद्यालय हैं जो इस आदेश को नहीं मानते। केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से छुट्टी घोषित होने के बाद भी या इंस्टिट्यूट और विद्यालय खुले हुए हैं। और यहां आज छुट्टी ना करके बच्चों को बुलाया गया है। बाराबंकी जिले के सफेदाबाद स्थित सेठ विशंभर नाथ कॉलेज में डॉक्टर भीमराव अंबेडकर के जन्म दिवस पर अवकाश नहीं दिया गया है। कॉलेज मैनेजमेंट की तरफ से बच्चों को पढ़ाई के लिए बुलाया गया है। जब इस बारे में कॉलेज मैनेजमेंट से बात की गई तब उन्होंने इस पर कोई जवाब नहीं दिया। लेकिन जब छात्रों से डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर के जन्म दिवस पर अवकाश ना देने के बारे में पूछा गया तो छात्रों ने बताया कि हमारा कॉलेज पढ़ाई को लेकर काफी सीरियस है। और हमारे लोगों के आगे एग्जाम भी हैं। इसी को लेकर शायद छुट्टी नहीं दी गई और हम लोगों को बुलाया गया है।
