शारदीय नवरात्र या महा नवरात्र आश्विन माह में आती है। यह आश्विन माह की प्रतिपदा तिथि से शुरू होती है और आश्विन माह की नवमी को समाप्त होती है। इस साल शारदीय नवरात्र 15 अक्टूबर, 2023 को शुरू होगी और 24 अक्टूबर, 2023 को समाप्त होगी। मां चंद्रघंटा की नवरात्र पर्व के तीसरे दिन पूजा-अर्चना की जाती है...साधक इस दिन अपने मन को माँ के चरणों में लगाते हैं। स्वरूप माँ का यह स्वरूप परम शांतिदायक और कल्याणकारी है। इनके मस्तक में घंटे का आकार का अर्धचंद्र है, इसी कारण से इन्हें चंद्रघंटा देवी कहा जाता है। इनके शरीर का रंग स्वर्ण के समान चमकीला है।
