मेंढर के ग्रामीण विकास विभाग के कार्यालय में विभिन्न पंचायतों के सरपंचों ने एकत्रित होकर सरकार के प्रति रोष जताया है। सरपंचों का कहना है कि आज 6 महीने हो चुके हैं हमे सरपंच बने और अभी तक सरकार ने कोई भी सुविधा नहीं दी है, जिस कारण वे लोगों के विकास कार्य नहीं कर पा रहे हैं। इस दौरान उन्होंने चेतावनी भरे लहजे में कहा है कि अगर उनको सुविधाएं नहीं दी गई तो वे जल्द ही गवर्नर को अपना इस्तीफा सौंपेंगे। साथ ही कहा कि अगर सरकार कुछ नहीं कर सकती तो उन्हें जहर देने का काम करे। उन्होंने मांग की है कि हमारी इन समस्याओं की और ध्यान दिया जाये अन्यथा वे उग्र प्रदर्शन करेंगे जिस में राज्य के सभी सरपंचो का समर्थन होगा.
