Delhi Yamuna से रेत का अवैध खनन, illegal sand mining | AA News
दिल्ली में यमुना से होता है रेत का अवैध खनन। रेत यमुना की आत्मा है जो यमुना के पानी को साफ करता है और जमीन में कई तरह के जीवाणुओं को और जीवन को आश्रय देता है। यदि इस रेत को निकाल दिया जाए तो यमुना का पानी फिल्टर नहीं होगा और यमुना और ज्यादा गंदी हो जाएगी।
NGT के द्वारा भी दिल्ली में यमुना से रेत का खनन करना पूरी तरह से प्रतिबंधित है। रेत उठ जाने की वजह से यमुना कहीं एकदम गहरी तो कहीं एकदम ऊंची है जिसमें लोग अक्सर डूब भी जाते हैं। जगतपुर वजीराबाद गांव के आसपास बड़ी मात्रा में रेत का अवैध खनन हो रहा है। रेत माफिया बड़ी संख्या में बड़े-बड़े डंपर यमुना में और बड़ी बड़ी मशीने भी लेकर पहुंचते हैं। बड़े-बड़े डंपर और मशीने प्रशासन को दिखाई नहीं देती। जब इस अवैध खनन की अति हो गई तो गांव के लोग इकट्ठा हुए और गांव की पंचायत खुद खेतों में पहुंची और अपने खेतों को दिखाया। गांव के लोगों ने बताया कि यहां से उनके खेतों से भी रेत उठा लिया जाता है और जब ट्रकों से रेत उड़ता है उनकी फसलों के ऊपर गिरता है उनके फैसले खराब हो जाती है। गांव के आसपास की सभी सड़के ओवरलोड ट्रकों ने तोड़ दी। साथ ही बिना नंबर प्लेट के ट्रैक रात के वक्त यहां फ़र्राटे भरते हैं जो किसी की भी जान ले सकते हैं।
यहां के स्थानीय पार्षद व निवासियों ने दिल्ली के LG, मुख्यमंत्री, उत्तरी जिला DCP, सिविल लाइन SDM आदि सभी जगह पर लिखित में शिकायत दी है बावजूद उसके प्रशासन सुस्त दिखाई दे रहा है।
