    SIMON Cowell is reportedly expecting his first child with married socialite Lauren Silverman.

    Us Weekly reports that Silverman, 36, is married to real estate mogul Andrew Silverman – a close friend of Cowell's – but they have been estranged.

    Silverman is said to be "10 weeks along" and allegedly plans to leave her husband to be with the 53-year-old music mogul.

    Cowell's Britain's Got Talent co-star and close friend David Walliams took to Twitter to confirm the news.

    Cowell's ex-girlfriend Sinitta posted a cryptic Tweet on Monday that seemed to allude to revelation:

    A source revealed to US Weekly: "Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while."

    "As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close," the source added.

    The X Factor judge and attractive brunette have regularly been seen together on trips to St Barts.

    This new report comes after Cowell, who split with his fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy last year, said it was too late for him to have children.

    Simon Cowell has a little American Idol on the way — and he never saw this future star coming.
    The prickly TV talent judge was blindsided by the news that his good friend’s wife — stunning New York socialite Lauren Silverman — was pregnant with his baby, the Daily News has learned.
    “The pregnancy has taken him by surprise. He assumed she was using birth control,” a source close to Cowell said.
    “Simon thought this was a casual relationship — friends with benefits. The pregnancy was not planned.”
    “He is feeling tricked,” added the source.

    “No question that Simon will want to be part of the baby’s life, but I’m not so sure he wants to be part of Lauren’s.”
    The 36-year-old Silverman, who was photographed cavorting with Cowell, 53, and her hubby last year in the Caribbean, is nearly three months pregnant and in the midst of a nasty divorce.
    Apparently incensed over the illicit affair, Silverman’s real estate mogul husband, Andrew Silverman, 37, filed for divorce on July 15.

    The papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court name Cowell as a co-respondent, suggesting the tryst will be a major issue in the divorce fight.

    Silverman, who is allegedly 10 weeks along, is still technically married to Ace Silverman, a real estate mogul and friend of the "American Idol" judge. She supposedly plans to leave her estranged husband to be with Cowell.

    "Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while," a source told Us Weekly. "As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close."

    Cowell's reps could not be immediately reached for comment by The Huffington Post. However, a rep for the mogul allegedly told the Daily Mail it's a "very sensitive issue" and directed all questions to his lawyer.

    Last summer, Cowell and Silverman were spotted vacationing together in St. Barts. Most recently, the 53-year-old was romantically linked with Carmen Electra, but the two broke things off in February.

    AOL Music caught up with Cowell last year and asked him about his plans for fatherhood. Prior to that, the "X Factor" judge had said he didn't want to be a dad.
