    ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਸੌਰਨਕੋਟ ਪੁੰਛ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ 5 ਜਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ । ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋਏ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ 3 ਜਵਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਹਨ , ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕ ਜਵਾਨ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਚੱਠਾ ਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ । ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਿਜ 30 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਚ' ਹੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਖਾਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਦਾ ਜਾਮ ਪੀ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ , ਉਹ ਅਪਣੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਅਪਣੀ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਬੁਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਮਾਤਾ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਪਤਨੀ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਮਾਸੂਮ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਛੱਡ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮੰਤਾਜ ਸਿੰਘ 4 ਸਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਗੁਰਕੀਰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਜੇ ਸਿਰਫ 39 ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਹੈ । ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਆਇਆਂ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ 16 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ਸੀ । ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਤੇ ਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੋ ਰੋਕੇ ਬੁਰਾ ਹਾਲ ਹੈ , ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਲੇਕਿਨ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ ਅਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਤੇ । ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ.....

NDA Parliamentary Party chief LK Advani, who demanded an apology from Antony, led a party delegation to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and made it clear that they will not relent on their position when Parliament meets on Thursday.
