    കര്‍ണാടകയിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയരം കൂടിയ കൊടുമുടിയാണു മുള്ളന്‍ ഗിരി പീക്ക്.ഏറ്റവും മുകളില്‍ ഒരു അമ്പലമുണ്ട്. മുള്ളയന്‍ ഗിരിയിലെ അസ്തമയ ദൃശ്യം മനോഹരമാണ്.മുള്ളയന്‍ ഗിരി കയറുന്നവര്‍ ബാബാ ബുദ്ധന്‍ ഗിരി പോകാതെ മടങ്ങില്ല. പതിനേഴാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടില്‍ അറേബ്യയില്‍ നിന്നും വന്ന ഹസ്രത്ത് ഹയാത് കലന്ദറിന്റെ ദര്‍ഗയാണു ബാബാ ബുദ്ധന്‍ഗിരിയെ പ്രശസ്തമാക്കുന്നത്. സൂഫിവര്യനായിരുന്നു ഹയാത്ത് കലന്ദര്‍. മതങ്ങള്‍ക്കപ്പുറം മനുഷ്യരെ സ്‌നേഹിച്ച ആള്‍.ഹിന്ദുക്കളും മുസ്ലിമുകളും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്വന്തം ആളായി കാണുന്നു. അതീവ സുരക്ഷാ മേഖലയാണു ദര്‍ഗയും പരിസരവും. കൂറ്റന്‍ മതിലിനു പുറത്ത് കമ്പിച്ചുരുളുകള്‍ വളച്ച് കെട്ടി ഭദ്രമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. വര്‍ഷത്തിലൊരിക്കല്‍ ദര്‍ഗയില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന ഉത്സവത്തിനു ലക്ഷക്കണക്കിനു ആളുകളാണത്രെ പങ്കെടുക്കുക. ആളുകള്‍ക്ക് വരാനും പോകാനുമായി കമ്പി വേലികള്‍ കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
