President Barack Obama says he will seek congressional authorization for the use of force in Syria. He says congressional leadership plans to hold a debate and a vote as soon as Congress comes back in September.

    राजधानी दिल्ली में अभिभावकों को सुप्रीम कोर्ट से बड़ी राहत मिली है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने दिल्ली के निजी स्कूलों में फीस बढ़ाने पर रोक लगा दी है। ये फैसला उन स्कूलों पर लागू होगा जो सरकार से मिली डीडीए की ज़मीन पर बने हैं। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट के फैसले के खिलाफ दायर याचिका को खारिज कर दिया है। बिना सरकार की मंजूरी के निजी स्कूल अब फीस नहीं बढ़ा सकेंगे। आपको बता दें कि पिछले साल 19 जनवरी को दिए फैसले में हाई कोर्ट ने कहा था, “सरकार से मिली ज़मीन पर बने स्कूल अपनी मर्ज़ी से फीस नहीं बढ़ा सकते। अगर वो फीस में ऐसा इज़ाफ़ा करते हैं जो गलत है तो दिल्ली सरकार का शिक्षा निदेशालय उसे रद्द कर सकता है। इस फैसले के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंचे निजी स्कूलों को आज तगड़ा झटका लगा। चीफ जस्टिस जे एस खेहर की अध्यक्षता वाली बेंच ने उनकी याचिका को सुनने से इंकार कर दिया।
