विजय विहार वार्ड नम्बर 26 से राजेश डबास ने आजाद उम्मीदवार के रूप में अपना नामांकन भरा है जिसके बाद दूसरे सभी प्रत्याशियों के समीकरण बदल गए हैं...राजेश डबास काफी पुराने कांग्रेसी है और आल इंडिया कांग्रेस में भी कई पदों पर रहे है .. इसके साथ ही कांग्रेस पार्टी ने इन्हें 15 साल तक अलग अलग समितियों का मेंबर भी बनाया .. इनकी पत्नी भी मात्र कुछ ही मतो से निगम चुनाव में पराजित हुई थी.....बावजूद इसके भी इन्होंने विजय विहार एरिया नही छोड़ा बल्कि यहां के लोगो की सेवा में जुटे रहे .. सभी को आशा थी की निश्चित रूप से कांग्रेस की टिकट राजेश डबास को ही मिलेगी पर जब राजेश डबास को टिकट नहीं मिली तो आखिरकार यहां की RWA और पंचायत के रूप में संगठित लोगों ने राजेश डबास को चुनाव लड़ने के लिए अपना प्रत्याशी घोषित कर दिया .. राजेश डबास का कहना है कि कांग्रेस पार्टी ने उनको बहुत कुछ दिया पर कुछ बीच के नेताओ ने विश्वासघात किया है .. इनका कहना है कि उनको पंचायत चुनाव लड़वा रही है और वे कांग्रेस के बड़े नेताओ का सम्मान करते है पर बीच के कुछ लोगो ने ऐसे शख्स को प्रत्याशी बनाया जो दो बार बड़े अंतर से चुनाव हार चुके है ..
राजेश डबास का यहां बड़ा जनाधार है और सभी सर्वे उन्हीं की दावेदारी बता रहे थे और आज भी राजेश डबास दावा करते हैं कि चाहे किसी भी एजेंसी से सर्वे करवा लें सभी राजेश डबास को ही सबसे मजबूत दावेदार बताएंगे ..
विजय विहार इलाके में महिलाओं को जब कभी पानी की समस्या हुई, उन्होंने राजेश डबास से सहायता मांगी और राजेश डबास ने इनके लिए पानी का इंतजाम करवाया
