बाहरी दिल्ली के मुंडका विधानसभा के नांगलोई वार्ड 39 में एनसीपी पार्टी ने संजय को अपना उम्मीदवार बनाया है, जिन्हें लोग प्यार से संजय भाई भी कहते हैं...एनसीपी पार्टी ने संजय भाई की साफ़ छवि को देखते हुए उन्हें वार्ड 39 से अपना उम्मीदवार खड़ा किया है....स्थानीय लोगों का मानना है कि अभी तक जितनी भी पार्टियां सत्ता में आई, उन्होंने उनके दुःख-दर्द और समस्यायों का निदान नहीं किया....और पार्टी अपने उम्मीदवार बाहर से पैसेवालों को चुनके लाती थी...लेकिन एनसीपी पार्टी ने संजय भाई को वार्ड नं. 39 से टिकट देकर लोगों को ही खुश नहीं किया बल्कि एक मिसाल भी कायम की है.
