Leakage of canal poses threat to 1100 lives in Udhampur village

At least 1100 villagers living under the threat of canal due to the leakage of Hydro Project Canal of Power Development Corporation in Kawa village in Udhampur district.

Common masses of the village are living under the fear. Locals alleged that from last five years, since the canal started, leakage of the canal has been entering their houses and farms.

While the villagers have been suffering, the ministers are in deep slumber and have not taken any action to repair the canal. Even the road has converted into small pond due to the leakage.
