Manifold initiatives afoot to restore dignified peace in Kashmir: Altaf Bukhari

Asserting that manifold initiatives are afoot to create conducive atmosphere for the restoration of peace and tranquility with dignity in Kashmir, Minister for Education, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Sunday said 1400 cases filed against first-time stone-pelters in Srinagar city have been withdrawn under Amnesty scheme.

He said better future of Kashmir lies in guiding its youth towards proper direction and no major success can be achieved unless the youth are involved in mainstream policymaking.
