Jitendra Singh lauds Indian Army for action at IB

Union Minister of State (MoS) Jitendra Singh on Friday lauded the Indian Army for their retaliatory action across the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir's Hira Nagar and R.S. Pura sectors.

"I want to appreciate the efforts of doctors and hospital staff as they are taking care of all the injured very well. Whatever Pakistan is doing is not hidden from anyone but this time, the kind of retaliatory action Indian Army has taken has not been seen in decades. Even the people living in this area are the testimony of this", Singh told the media here.

He added that the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) will decide whether or not the talk should happen between the two countries.

    The Indian Army has foiled an attempt by Pakistani Border Action Team (BAT) to carry out an attack across the Line of Control (LoC) in Naugam sector of Kashmir, killing two suspected Pakistani soldiers. The attackers, who were dressed in Indian Army and BSF fatigues for deception, were provided cover fire by the Pakistani Army post as they tried to sneak into the Indian side.

    Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday took on the Indian Army for hailing crackdown on terror. After Northern Command Chief Lt Gen Ranbir Singh said that over 250 terrorists were killed and 54 were caught alive by security forces in 2018, the National Conference leader said that “a great year would be one in which no young man would join militancy”.

    नागपुर में आज विजय दशमी के अवसर पर संघ मुख्यालय में समारोह का आयोजन किया..इस अवसर पर संघ प्रमुख मोहन भागवत ने हथियारों की पूजा की...इस दौरान कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए भागवत ने सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक को लेकर इशारों इशारों में मोदी सरकार की तारीफ की...भागवत ने कहा कि "हमारे शासन ने पाकिस्तान को अच्छा जवाब दिया। शासन के नेतृत्व में हमारी सेना ने साहस दिखाया। कश्मीर की उपद्रवकारी शक्तियों को उकसाने का काम सीमापार से होता है, ये बात किसी से छिपी नहीं है।" भागवत ने कहा, 'मीरपुर, मुजफ्फराबाद और गिलगिट-बाल्टिस्तान समेत सारा कश्मीर हमारा है. पाकिस्तान कश्मीर में अलगाववादी ताकतों को बढ़ावा दे रहा है. साथ ही इस दौरान भागवत ने गौ रक्षकों का बचाव भी किया...उन्होंने कहा कि असामाजिक तत्वों और कानून का पालन करने वाले गोरक्षकों के बीच अंतर को समझा जाना चाहिए... पवित्र मानी जाने वाली गाय की रक्षा कानून के दायरे में ही की जानी चाहिए, और वे गोरक्षक, जो ऐसा करते हैं, एक महत्वपूर्ण समाजसेवा कर रहे हैं. प्रशासन को ध्यान रखना होगा कि कुछ लोग ऐसे होते हैं, जो असामाजिक तत्व हैं, और कभी गोरक्षक नहीं हो सकते... उनके ज़रिये बेवकूफ न बनें... उन लोगों तथा गोरक्षकों में फर्क होता है... उन्हें एक साथ जोड़कर नहीं देखा जाना चाहिए...।
