KAS, CGL exam dates clash; NSUI, seeks change

National Students Union of India (NSUI) on Wednesday asked the J&K Public Service Commission to change the scheduled of the KAS prelim-exams to be held on the 19th of March by a day to avoid non-participation of KAS aspirants who are also appearing for the Staff Selection Committee’s Combined Graduate Level Examination’s Final Level on the same date.

    The Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) has released its exam calendar for the year 2019. The UPSC exam calendar contains the schedule for the all the UPSC Exams which will be conducted in the year 2019. Some of the exams will be notified in the year 2018 itself and the rest will be notified in the year 2019.
    The year 2019 will start with the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Exam 2019 on 6 January 2019 and will end with the S.O./Steno (GD-B/GD-I) LDCE on 14 December 2019.

    The other important date is the 2nd June 2019 when the Civil Services Preliminary Exam will be conducted in 2019. The suprise for the candidates is that the Civil Services Main(written) Exam will commence from 20 September 2019. Usually this exam commence in the month of October. So in 2019, this will be the real deviation from the previous years exam schedules.
