Top Hizbul Mujahideen leader threatens to behead separatist Hurriyat leaders
A top Hizbul Mujahideen leader has threatened to behead separatist Hurriyat leaders for calling Kashmir a political struggle instead of a religious war for the creation of an “Islamic state”.
The threat is believed to be the first against the Hurriyat leadership who are acknowledged to represent the political views of a section of Kashmiris and had earlier held talks with the state and central governments many times.
The message was delivered through a video clip which contained a montage of slides showing Islamic quotes about Islam and Sharia. The person who is heard in the clip is not shown. He did not identify himself but is believed to be of local Hizbul Mujahideen commander Zakir Musa.

Hizbul Mujahideen recruitment module busted in Baramulla, say security forces
Baramulla Police on Friday said a team including its personnel and other security forces had busted a Hizbul Mujahideen recruitment module. Senior Superintendent of Police Imtiyaz Hussain said one of the three recruiters who were trying to “lure boys into terrorism” had visited Pakistan in May.

Overground worker of Hizbul Mujahideen held in J&K’s Kulgan
An overground worker of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit was on Thursday arrested in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district, police said.
Showkat Ahmad Lone was arrested by security forces during an operation in Kulgam, 75 kms from Srinagar, a police official said.
One pistol and four rounds were recovered from Lone’s possession, he said.

J&K cops nab two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists
Two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists has been arrested from Srinagar. J&K police acted on a specific tip-off and arrested the duo from the Nawab bazar area of Srinagar. JAMMU LINKS NEWS | Fresh landslide in Udhampur district forced the closure of the Srinagar-Jammu highway on Monday.
A Traffic Department official said no traffic would be allowed on the highway following the landslides that occurred on Kheri road in Udhampur.

Terrorists abduct Pulwama man from his residence, cops find his bullet-riddled body in nearby fields
JAMMU LINKS NEWS | Terrorists on Monday barged into the house of a resident and abducted him in Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place in Pulwama's Murran. This incident took place on Sunday night.
