    ഫിനാൻഷ്യൽ ബിഡ്ഡിൽ അദാനി ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ഒന്നാമതെത്തി. പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനമായ കെഎസ്ഐഡിസി രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനത്ത്. ഡല്‍ഹി, ഹൈദരാബാദ് വിമാനത്താവള നടത്തിപ്പുകാരായ ജിഎംആർ മൂന്നാംസ്ഥാനത്ത്. ഔദ്യോഗിക പ്രഖ്യാപനം 28ന്. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തിനു പുറമെ അഹമ്മദാബാദ്, ജയ്പൂർ, ലക്നൗ, മംഗലാപുരം എന്നിവയും അദാനി ഗ്രൂപ്പിന്. മംഗലാപുരത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ബിഡ് ചെയ്ത സിയാൽ രണ്ടാമത്. ഗുവാഹത്തി വിമാനത്താവളത്തിന്റെ ബിഡ് കോടതി സ്റ്റേ ചെയ്തു. രാജ്യാന്തരവിമാനത്താവളത്തിന്റെ നടത്തിപ്പ് സ്വകാര്യ ഏജൻസികളെ ഏൽപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ തീരുമാനത്തിനെതിരെ നേരത്തേ പ്രതിഷേധമുയർന്നിരുന്നു. സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാർ ആദ്യം ഈ നീക്കത്തെ എതിർത്തെങ്കിലും പിന്നീടു നടത്തിപ്പവകാശത്തിനായി ബിഡിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. സിയാലിന്റെ പേരിൽ ബിഡിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാനായിരുന്നു ആദ്യ തീരുമാനമെങ്കിലും പിന്നീടു തിരുവനന്തപുരം ഇന്റർനാഷനൽ എയർപോർട്ട് ലിമിറ്റഡ് (ടിയാൽ) എന്ന കമ്പനിയുണ്ടാക്കി.
    എന്നാൽ, മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കേണ്ടതിനാൽ കെഎസ്ഐഡിസിയുടെ പേരിലാണു ബിഡിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തത്.
    സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാരിന്റെ അഭ്യർഥനപ്രകാരം കെഎസ്ഐഡിസിക്ക് 10% റൈറ്റ് ഓഫ് ഫസ്റ്റ് റഫ്യൂസൽ അനുവദിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇതുപ്രകാരം, ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ തുക നിർദേശിക്കുന്നത് മറ്റു രണ്ടു കമ്പനികളാണെങ്കിൽപോലും തുക വർധിപ്പിക്കാൻ കെഎസ്ഐഡിസിക്ക് അവസരം ലഭിക്കുമെന്നായിരുന്നു വിവരം.വിമാനത്താവള നടത്തിപ്പ് സ്വകാര്യ ഏജൻസികളെ ഏൽപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനെതിരെ എയർപോർട്ട് അതോറിറ്റി എംപ്ലോയീസ് യൂണിയനും കടുത്ത പ്രതിഷേധവുമായി രംഗത്തെത്തിയിരുന്നു. പൊതുമേഖലയിൽ മികച്ച നിലയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന വിമാനത്താവളത്തെ സ്വകാര്യമേഖലയ്ക്ക് തീറെഴുതിക്കൊടുക്കുകയാണെന്നാണ് എംപ്ലോയീസ് യൂണിയന്റെ ആരോപണം. ജീവനക്കാർക്ക് തൊഴിൽ നഷ്ടമാകുമെന്നും അവർ ആരോപിക്കുന്നു.
    തിരുവനന്തപുരം ഉൾപ്പെടെ 6 വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളുടെ നടത്തിപ്പു കൈമാറാനാണ് എയർപോർട്ട് അതോറിറ്റി ബിഡ് ക്ഷണിച്ചത്.
    ജിഎംആറും അദാനിയും ആറു വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടിയും ബിഡ് സമർപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. ന്യൂഡൽഹി ഇന്ദിരാഗാന്ധി വിമാനത്താവളം ഏറ്റെടുത്തു വികസിപ്പിച്ചത് ജിഎംആർ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ആണ്. അദാനി ആദ്യമായാണു വ്യോമയാന മേഖലയിൽ മുതൽമുടക്കുന്നത്.
