With the popularity of the all-weather drive (AWD) system in inclement weather, Lexus offers the IS 300 AWD with 255 hp and 236 lb.-ft. torque at 2,000-4,800 rpm. The IS 300 AWD features a modified 3.5-liter V6 engine paired to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Lexus continues to offer the IS 350, in both RWD and AWD models.

The IS sedans convey an aggressive yet elegant presence with the brand's unmistakable spindle grille, L-theme LED daytime running lights and dynamic bodylines. The lineup combines silken power delivery with multi-link rear suspension and finely tuned electronic power steering derived from the Lexus GS sedan to deliver a rousing driving experience.

    Chevrolet today introduced the all-new 2016 Cruze - a larger and lighter, more efficient and more sophisticated evolution of the brand's best-selling global car.

    Packed with new technologies such as available Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and new active safety features, as well as a more spacious interior and an athletic, aerodynamically optimized design, the 2016 Cruze elevates the compact car segment - from San Francisco to Shanghai and from Boston to Buenos Aires.

    It will be offered in more than 40 global markets and goes on sale first in North America in early 2016. A new, standard 1.4L turbocharged engine with direct injection and an SAE-certified 153 horsepower (113 kW) helps enable a General Motors-estimated 40 mpg on the highway with the available six-speed automatic transmission. Stop/start technology helps enhance the Cruze's efficiency in stop-and-go driving.

    The new turbo engine and a leaner architecture that reduces up to 250 pounds (113 kg) also contribute to the new Cruze's stronger performance, with expected 0-60-mph acceleration of eight seconds.

The chrome front bumper has body-color end caps while the rear bumper is body color; bright belt moldings visually tie the two together. The exterior is further accented by satin-chrome door handles and chrome exhaust tip.
    Available colors include Shadow Black, Magnetic, Blue Jeans and White Platinum Metallic tri-coat.

    Veloster Turbo is paired with a standard six-speed manual transmission or a new for 2016 seven-speed dual clutch (DCT) automatic transmission. Both transmissions were developed in-house by Hyundai. The new Veloster Turbo seven-speed automatic transmission features steering wheel-mounted paddle-shifters and Shiftronic transmission gear control, and is more performance-tuned in comparison with the non-turbo model's DCT. This transmission was specifically engineered to handle the increased torque output from the turbocharged engine. The non-turbo Veloster's EcoShift DCT was tuned especially for fuel efficiency rather than the higher torque and performance calibration of the Veloster Turbo seven-speed DCT.

  • 2016 Kia Optima 1.7 CRDi - Exterior and Interior Walkaround (IAA 2015)

    The fourth-generation Optima, which will go on sale across Europe in Q4 2015, boasts a modern, new exterior, a bold interior design with more space for all occupants, an array of new technologies and a wide choice of efficient powertrains.

    The upgraded 1.7-litre CRDi diesel engine is expected to account for the majority of European sales from launch. Carried over from the existing model, it receives a range of modifications for its application in the all-new Optima, resulting in greater power output and torque, and reduced emissions.
    Now producing 139 horsepower (up from 134 hp) and 340 Nm torque (increased from 325 Nm), the upgraded 1.7-litre diesel engine offers an improvement to engine response, low end torque, efficiency and NVH. The upgraded engine boasts far lower CO2 emissions, reduced by 14% to 110 g/km (when fitted with manual transmission and Kia's Idle Stop/Go fuel-saving technology).

    Mercedes is presenting a superlative dream car in the guise of the S63 4MATIC Cabriolet.
    The new model also offers its driver and up to three passengers space to travel in style. Its high-calibre statistics: 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine with an output of 585 horsepower (430 kW) and peak torque of 900 Nm, AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive with rear-biased torque split as standard, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and a high-performance composite brake system for optimum deceleration. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission combines perfectly with the V8 biturbo engine.

    The S 63 Cabriolet also adapts to the driver's individual wishes in terms of its engine sound - from emotional and sporty to a more restrained alternative suitable for long journeys. The exhaust system has automatic logic-controlled exhaust flaps in both rear silencers. When the transmission is in "C" (Controlled Efficiency) mode, the flaps remain closed in most situations, in which case the eight-cylinder biturbo engine's sound is more understated. In "S" (Sport) and "M" (Manual) modes, the exhaust flaps open earlier and more spontaneously, especially if the driver prefers a dynamic driving style. This results in an emotional, signature AMG engine sound.
