He was also a gold medalist during the 2004 Olympic Games and scored eight goals. The soccer master represented Argentina in the Copa América of 2004 and the team reached the final, but lost with Brazil on penalties where he managed to score two goals. Tevez is also widely known for his powerful shot from outside the box during the 2010 FIFA World Cup held in South Africa.
