    सरीला के जरिया थाना क्षेत्र में एक बेटे ने प्लाट नाम न करने पर अपनी मां की कुल्हाड़ी से काटकर हत्या कर दी। मामले की सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंचे। पुलिस शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजकर जांच पड़ताल में जुटी है।
    जरिया थाना क्षेत्र के इटैलिया बाजा गांव में 50 वर्षीय कुसुम पत्नी वीरेंद्र साहू का परिवार यहीं पर रहता है। वीरेंद्र दिल्ली में रहकर मेहनत मजदूरी करते हैं। इनके तीन बेटे हैं। बड़ा बेटा अमित, दूसरा मदन (27) और फिर अरविंद सबसे छोटा बेटा है।
    *दिल्ली में पिता के साथ रहते हैं दो बेटे*
    तीनों बेटों की शादी हो चुकी है। अमित और अरविंद की पत्नियां दिल्ली में ही रहती हैं। मदन की पत्नी उसे छोड़कर मायके में रहती है। अमित और अरविंद दिल्ली में रहकर अपने पिता वीरेंद्र के साथ मजदूरी करते हैं। तीन माह पहले अमित गांव आया था। यहां पर मां कुसुम व छोटे भाई मदन के साथ रहने लगा।
    *प्लाट पर करना चाहता था कब्जा*
    कुसुम का राठ कस्बा में एक प्लाट है। आरोप है कि उस प्लाट पर मदन अपना कब्जा जमाना चाहता था। इसके लिए मदन ने कई बार अपनी मां पर दबाव बनाया, लेकिन मां का कहना था कि तीनों बेटों में बराबर की हिस्सेदारी से प्लाट को बांटेंगी। मंगलवार की सुबह करीब 8:30 बजे अमित किसी काम से घर के बाहर गया था। उस समय भी मदन ने मां पर प्लाट को अपने नाम करने का दबाव बनाया। दोबारा से मना करने पर मदन आक्रोशित हो गया। उसने कुल्हाड़ी से काटकर मां की हत्या कर दी। घटना को अंजाम देने के बाद आरोप बेटा फरार हो गया।
    जब अमित घर पहुंचा तो देखा कि मां लहुलूहान अवस्था में पड़ी थी। जिसकी सूचना पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। सीओ अखिलेश राजन व जरिया थाना प्रभारी रामाश्रय सरोज जांच पड़ताल कर में जुट गए। थाना प्रभारी रामाश्रय सरोज ने बताया कि मृतका के बेटे अमित ने तहरीर दी। मुकदमा दर्ज किया जा रहा है। शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया गया है।
