भिंगार कॅन्टोन्मेंट बोर्डाचा समावेश अहमदनगर महानगरपालिकेत करण्याचा मार्ग मोकळा झाला आहे. भिंगार शहराचा महानगरपालिकेत समाविष्ट होणार, अशी ग्वाही खासदार सुजय विखे यांनी दिली. भिंगार शहराचा महानगरपालिकेत समावेश करावा अशी मागणी वेळोवेळी समोर आली. दरम्यान या निर्णयामुळे आता भिंगारकरांची अनेक वर्षांची इच्छा पूर्ण होणार आहे.
भिंगार शहराचा अहमदनगर महानगरपालिकेत समावेश करून घ्यायचा की नाही? या मुद्द्यावर आज जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालय येथे खासदार सुजय विखे यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली एक बैठक पार पडली. बैठकीला शहराचे खासदार सुजय विखे, आमदार संग्राम जगताप, महापालिकेचे आयुक्त पंकज जावळे, छावणी मंडळाचे आयुक्त, भाजपचे माजी जिल्हाध्यक्ष भैय्या गंधे, माजी महापौर व भिंगार छावणी मंडळातील अनेक आजी-माजी सदस्य देखील उपस्थित होते.
या बैठकीत विखेंनी भिंगार छावणी मंडळाचा महानगरपालिकेच्या हद्दीत प्रवेश करण्यात यावा की नाही, याबाबत मत जाणून घेतली. तर या छावणीतून आमची सुटका करा, आमच्या समस्या सोडवा, भिंगार शहराला महापालिकेत समाविष्ट करा अशी एकमुखी मागणी उपस्थित नागरिकांनी केली. छावणीतून कशा प्रकारे त्रास दिला जातो? त्यांच्याकडे दुर्लक्ष कसे केले जाते? याचा पाढाच नागरिकांनी खासदार विखेंसमोर वाचला.
यावर बोलताना विखे म्हणाले की, भिंगार छावणी मंडळाचा प्रश्न येत्या चार महिन्यात निकाली लागेल. त्यामुळे तुमची लवकरच सुटका होईल, अशी ग्वाही खासदार विखेंनी यावेळी भिंगारकरांना दिली.
येत्या हिवाळी अधिवेशनात हा प्रश्न उपस्थित केला जाईल आणि त्यानंतर भिंगार छावणी मंडळ बरखास्त होऊन त्याचा समावेश अहमदनगर महानगरपालिकेच्या हद्दीत होईल, असे देखील खासदार विखे म्हणाले.
