आपको बता दें कि इससे पहले हॉलीवुड में भी ‘मी टू मूवमेंट’ अभियान चलाया गया था. जिसके बाद कई महिलाओं ने उन यौन उत्पीड़नों के बारे में बताना शुरू कर दिया था, जो उन्हें कभी न कभी झेलना पड़ा था. इससे भी अनेक बड़ी से बड़ी हस्तियां बेलकाब हुई थीं. वहीं अब फिल्म एक्ट्रेस तनुश्री दत्ता के सीनियर एक्टर नाना पाटेकर पर यौन उत्पीड़न का आरोप लगाने के कारण मचे विवाद के बीच महिला एवं बाल कल्याण मंत्री मेनका गांधी ने कहा है कि हॉलीवुड की तर्ज पर देश में भी ‘मी टू इंडिया’ अभियान चलाने की जरूरत है. उन्होंने कहा कि इस अभियान के जरिए महिलाओं को शिकायतें लेकर सामने आने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना होगा.
