Dr. Swapan Chaudhuri, Youngest son of Smt. Amiya Prava Chaudhuri and Mr. Kali Pada Chaudhuri, Dr. Swapan Chaudhuri was born at Halahali, in Kamalpur of Tripura.

Schooling was at Halahali and Manikbhander and went to VSS medical College in Sambalpur, Orissa. On completion of the degree, served in Tripura at a rural health care center for more than 5 years before emigrating to the USA in 1990.

Completed a Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York institute of Technology(NYIT) in New York, was residency trained in New York in Internal Medicine and has been working in the USA since 1994.
