अनंतनाग ज़िले की अच्छाबल नगर पालिका लगातार स्वच्छ भारत मिशन को पलीता लगा रही है। ये गंदगी से अटे पड़े रास्ते की तस्वीरें, ये खुलेआम फेंकी जा रही गंदगी। यहां शायद किसी को स्वच्छता से कोई सरोकार नहीं है। तभी तो बेतरतीब कूड़ा-कचरा अनंतनाग-किश्तवाड़ रोड के किनारे फेंका जा रहा है। अच्छाबल नगर पालिका के गैरजिम्मेदाराना रवैये के चलते रिहायशी इलाके का कूड़ा उठाकर उसे डंपिंग यार्ड में फेंकने की बजाय रोड किनारे खुले में ही फेंका जा रहा है और कूड़े को खुले में जलाने की भी शिकायतें सामने आई है। जुगाड़ के सहारे डंपिंग साइट में गंदगी के ढेर और उस पर आवारा कुत्तों का आतंक यहां से गुजरने वाले हर किसी शख्स के लिए काफी परेशानी भरा है
