मंजिले उन्ही को मिलती है जिनके पंखों में जान होती हैं पंखों से कुछ नहीं होता हौसलों से उड़ान होती है एएमयू में दृष्टिहीन विद्यार्थियों की'' आंखें बन गए कंप्यूटर
अलीगढ़ दृष्टिहीनता की वजह से जो लोग दुनिया नहीं देख सकते, उनके लिए अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी के कंप्यूटरजी 'आंखें' बन गए हैं। यहां एशिया की सबसे प्रतिष्ठित मौलाना आजाद लाइब्रेरी में यही गुरुजी की भूमिका निभा रहे हैं। ये कंप्यूटरजी पहले सामान्य किताबें स्कैन करते हैं और फिर छात्रों को पढ़कर सुनाते हैं। लाइब्रेरी कंप्यूटर वाली लैब हर सवाल का जवाब बन गई है। अब यहां उपलब्ध सभी किताबें पढ़ने का रास्ता भी खुल गया है।सॉफ्टवेयर का कमाल कुछ बरस पहले तक दृष्टिहीन विद्यार्थियों के लिए ब्रेल लिपि ही पढ़ाई का इकलौता माध्यम होती थी। पर, ब्रेल लिपि में किताबें बहुत कम मिल पाती थीं। पर, आज तकनीक की तरक्की ने दृष्टिहीनों की पढ़ाई का तौर-तरीका बेहद उन्नत बना दिया है। एएमयू ने इसका लाभ उठाया और अपने यहां दृष्टिहीन विद्यार्थियों के लिए किताबों का खजाना खोल दिया। ऐसा अत्याधुनिक सॉफ्टवेयर के जरिये संभव हुआ है। यहां की ऐतिहासिक मौलाना आजाद लाइब्रेरी के ब्रेल सेक्शन में ऐसा सॉफ्टवेयर (ऑप्टिकल करेक्टर रिकग्नीशन) लगाया गया है, जो ¨हदी की किताबों को स्कैन करके विद्यार्थियों को सुनाता है। अभी तक कोई सामान्य व्यक्ति किताब पढ़ता था, उसे रिकार्ड करके विद्यार्थी सुना करते थे। मैजिक स्क्रीन मैग्नीफिकेशन इसमें मैटर को कंप्यूटर स्क्रीन पर जूम करके पढ़ा जा सकता है। कर्सर जैसे-जैसे आगे बढ़ता है, सॉफ्टवेयर उसे रीड करके सुनाता जाता है। कमाल का ब्रेल इंबोजर लाइब्रेरी में कमाल का प्रिंटर है, जिसका नाम है, ब्रेल इंबोजर। यह देवनागरी, रोमन या फारसी (अथवा नस्तालीक) लिपि में लिखे को ब्रेल लिपि में कन्वर्ट करके प्रिंट कर देता है। इससे हदी, अंग्रेजी और उर्दू की किताबें ब्रेल में प्रिंट होने लगी हैं। लाइब्रेरी के सेमी-प्रोफेशनल असिस्टेंट आबिद अली बताते हैं जो हमारे यहां दृष्टिहीन छात्र हैं उनको कंप्यूटर के द्वारा पढ़ाई जाने के लिए सारे सॉफ्टवेयर आ गए हैं दृष्टिहीनता वाले विद्यार्थियों के लिए मैजिक स्क्रीन मैग्नीफिकेशन सॉफ्टवेयर लगाया गया है। इस सॉफ्टवेयर की वजह से इन छात्रों को बहुत सहूलियत मिल रही है अब कहते हैं कि यह कंप्यूटर इनBy LNV India | 170 views
