भारत की कार्रवाई से बौखलाया पाक अपनी नापाक हरकतों से बाज नहीं आ रहा है। पाकिस्तानी सेना ने गुरुवार को जम्मू-कश्मीर के पुंछ जिले में नियंत्रण रेखा के पास अग्रिम चौकियों पर भारी गोलाबारी की, जिसका भारतीय सेना ने करारा जवाब दिया. यह लगातार सातवां दिन है जब पाकिस्तान ने नियंत्रण रेखा के पास अग्रिम चौकियों को निशाना बनाकर संघर्ष विराम का उल्लंघन किया है। पाकिस्तान सेना ने कृष्णा घाटी सेक्टर में नियंत्रण रेखा के पास गुरुवार को सुबह लगभग छह बजे मोर्टार दागने के साथ गोलाबारी कर संघर्ष विराम का उल्लंघन किया। इस कार्रवाई का भारतीय सेना ने जोरदार जवाब दिया है . इस फायरिंग से लोगों में दहशत का माहौल बन गया है। स्थानीय लोगों ने सरकार से इस गोलाबारी को रोकने की मांग की है ताकि नियंत्रण रेखा पर हालात सामान्य बनाए जा सके।

    Pakistani troops has handed over Indian youth, who had crossed over to other side of Indo-Pak border, to Army authorities along LoC Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Rashid, a contractual driver, had crossed over to Pakistan for the reasons still under investigation by the police. The police began looking for him after his father had registered an FIR after he went missing.

  • Pak Army violates ceasefire, targets areas along LoC

    Pakistani troops today opened fire and shelled areas along the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, drawing heavy retaliation from the Indian Army.

    The firing is still on, a defence spokesman said.

    "Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars from 0815 hours in Poonch sector along the Line of Control (LoC)", the spokesman said.

    The Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively.

    SRINAGAR: Army has foiled an attack by Pakistan's Border Action Team (BAT) on a forward post along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir, killing five to seven intruders, according to a defence spokesman here. The BAT generally comprises special forces personnel of the Pakistani Army and terrorists.

  • J&K: Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC in Krishna Ghati sector

    The Pakistan army on Saturday targeted forward posts and villages in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district with firing from small arms and mortar shelling, ending nearly a week-long lull along the Line of Control (LoC) , a defence spokesman said. The small arms firing and mortar shelling from across the border started in Krishna Ghati sector around 7.45 am, the spokesman said. He said the Indian Army is retaliating and the cross-border shelling between the two sides was going on when last reports were received.
