लोक निर्माण विभाग द्वारा नगर के कराये जा रहे सुंदरीकरण को लेकर सितारगंज की जनता ने निर्माण विभाग द्वारा नगर के मुख्य मार्गो पर सुंदरीकरण का कार्य किया जा रहा है जो लंबे समय से लंबित है नगर के किच्छा रोड खटीमा रोड पर अभी तक समीकरण का कार्य पूर्ण नहीं किया गया है सड़कें टूटी हुई हैं जिससे जहां एक और एक्सीडेंट की दुर्घटना बढ़ गई है वहीं दूसरी और व्यापारी तथा राहगीर ढोल मिट्टी से परेशान हो गए है तथा चिट्ठी सड़कों के कारण आए दिन जाम की स्थिति बनी रही है
