Inspite of repeated requests from all quarters and DCW Chairperson Swati Maliwal urging the Rajya Sabha to pass the Juvenile Justice Bill, the house seems to be on a back foot. On Monday, two bills were passed but Juvenile Justice Bill was deferred. Under pressure, house agreed to discuss the Bill on Tuesday.

    In a major relief for debt-hit telcos, the Centre deferred spectrum auction payments due from the operators for the years 2020-2021 and 2021-22.
