चिंकारा शिकार मामले में सलमान खान की मुश्किलें बढ़ सकती हैं। दरअसल इस मामले में सलमान खान को बरी किए जाने के हाईकोर्ट के फैसले के खिलाफ राजस्थान सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती दी है। जोधपुर हाईकोर्ट ने सलमान खान को इस साल 25 जुलाई को चिंकारा शिकार मामले में सबूतों के अभाव के चलते बरी कर दिया था। हालांकि, राज्य सरकार की तरफ से उसी वक्त यह कहा गया था कि हाईकोर्ट के फैसले के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट में अपील की जाएगी। आपको बता दें कि सलमान खान पर 1998 से हिरण शिकार के दो मामले चल रहे थे, जिनमें से पहला मामला था भवाद गांव में दो हिरण के शिकार करने का, जबकि दूसरा मामला मठानिया के घोडा फर्म में एक और हिरण मारने का था। सलमान उस समय जोधपुर में फिल्म 'हम साथ साथ हैं' की शूटिंग कर रहे थे। घोडा फर्म मामले में अदालत ने 10 अप्रैल 2006 को सलमान खान को पांच साल की सजा और 25 हज़ार रुपए का जुर्माना लगाया था जबकि भवाद गांव में चिंकारा शिकार मामले में कोर्ट ने एक साल की सज़ा मुकर्रर की थी।
