    माइनॉरिटी कमीशन 6 समुदायों जिसमें इस्लाम धर्म , ईसाई धर्म ,सिख धर्म, जैन धर्म, बौद्ध धर्म और पारसी धर्म को मानने वाले लोगों के लिए एजुकेशन, नौकरी और उनके कल्चर को बचाकर रखने के लिए 1978 से काम कर रहा है। पिछले दिनों चर्चा चली थी कि बैलिस्टिक हेलमेट से सिख मर्यादा के तहत उसकी उल्लंघना हो रही है। इसकी क्या सच्चाई है और सरकार को इसे लेकर क्या कड़े कदम उठाने चाहिए। कमीशन को राहत मर्यादा और देश की सुरक्षा दोनों बहुत जरूरी है। इसका सच क्या है यह फौज के लोग ही बता सकते हैं। फौज के जूनियर अफसर अधिकारी यह पहनते हैं, फौज के एयर मार्शल अर्जुन सिंह भी यह हेलमेट पहनते रहे हैं जब वह जहाज चलाते थे जो बाद में मार्शल एयर बने....... निर्मलजीत सिंह सेखों भारत सरकार ने अंडमान निकोबार में द्वीप का नाम रखा है वह लोग भी सिर पर हेलमेट पहनते रहे हैं। यह हेलमेट सिर की सुरक्षा के लिए नहीं होते, इसके अंदर तकनीकी सामान भी लगे होते हैं जिसके बिना हवाई जहाज चलाना संभव नहीं ........अपने सिर को बचाने के लिए पैराट्रूपर फौज के अधिकारी पहनते हैं। सिर की रक्षा के लिए हेड गियर बनाया गया कितना सार्थक है या कितना जरूरी है इसको लेकर एसजीपीसी, दिल्ली सिख गुरुद्वारा मैनेजमेंट कमेटी, हरियाणा कमेटी और पटना कमेटी और सेना के अधिकारियों को बैठक के लिए बुलाया था। आने वाले दिनों में कहीं और बैठके होगी और उसके बाद ही साफ हो पाएगा की आर्मी के जवान वह हेलमेट पहनेंगे या नहीं ......लेकिन इस पूरे मामले पर अब राजनीति हो रही है
