Naval wife-swapping scandal: SC orders CBI to probe

Supreme Court ordered CBI will probe into allegations of rampant wife-swapping among naval officers and transfer of a case pertaining to the row from Kochi to New Delhi. The wife had filed the petition in 2013. Jaiswal said a probe by the central agency was necessary as police in Kerala, where Kiran was based, and the naval authorities were harassing the officer's wife instead of acting on her complaint.

    बिहार के पत्रकार राजदेव रंजन हत्याकांड में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सख्ती दिखाते हुए में सभी छह आरोपियों को ज़मानत देने से साफ इनकार कर दिया है... सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने यह आदेश देते हुए तीन और अहम आदेश जारी किए हैं...अपने आदेश में कोर्ट ने सीबीआई को तीन महीने के भीतर जांच पूरी करने को कहा है... दूसरा आदेश है कि सिवान के सेशन जज सुप्रीम कोर्ट में रिपोर्ट दाख़िल कर बताए कि शहाबुद्दीन और तेज प्रताप को समारोह में बुके देने वाले फ़ोटो के वक़्त आरोपी मोहम्मद कैफ़ और मोहम्मद जावेद को क्या भगोड़ा घोषित किया गया था या गैर-ज़मानती वारंट जारी किया गया था...और तीसरा आदेश में सीबीआई को स्टेट्स रिपोर्ट को दाख़िल करने को कहा है. वहीं बिहार सरकार ने शहाबुद्दीन और तेज प्रताप का बचाव करते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट में कहा कि जब आरोपी की फोटो दोनों के साथ आई तब आरोपी के खिलाफ कोई गैर-जमानती वारंट नहीं हुआ था. वहीं तेजप्रताप और शहाबुद्दीन ने कहा है कि वह एक पब्लिक समारोह में आरोपियों से मिले थे और यह सब अचानक था. वहीं अब मामले की अगली सुनवाई 28 नवंबर को होगी

    पूर्व सीबीआई निदेशक रंजीत सिन्हा की मुश्किलें बढ़ गई हैं। कोयला घोटाले में अपने पद का दुरुपयोग करने के आरोप में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने रंजीत सिन्हा के खिलाफ जांच के आदेश दिए हैं। सुनवाई के दौरान सुप्रीम कोर्ट कहा कि पहली नजर में सिन्हा पर जांच को प्रभावित करने का मामला बनता है। अदालत ने सिन्हा पर लगे आरोपों की जांच के लिये एक विशेष जांच दल गठित कर दिया है जिसकी अगुवाई सीबीआई निदेशक करेंगे। इसके साथ ही कोर्ट ने कहा कि कोयला घोटाला मामलों में विशेष लोक अभियोजक के वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता आरए चीमा इस मामले के कानूनी पहलुओं पर सीबीआई निदेशक की मदद करेंगे। इससे पहले सुप्रीम कोर्ट में नियुक्त एमएल शर्मा कमेटी ने शुरुआती जांच में सिन्हा को कोयला घोटाला मामले को प्रभावित करने का दोषी पाया था। सुप्रीम कोर्ट में अटॉर्नी जनरल मुकुल रोहतगी ने बताया कि कमेटी की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, रंजीत सिन्हा के घर की विजिटर डायरी में मौजूद एंट्री सही लग रही है।

    रक्षा मंत्रालय ने सीबीआई और ED को यूपीए सरकार के कार्यकाल में हुए एम्ब्रेयर विमान सौदे की जांच करने का आदेश दिया है। सूत्रों के मुताबिक एम्ब्रेयर विमान सौदे का आरोप बेहद गंभीर हैं इसलिए सीबीआई के साथ-साथ प्रवर्तन निदेशालय को भी जांच करने को कहा गया है। रक्षा मंत्री मनोहर पर्रिकर ने इस हफ्ते की शुरुआत में कहा था, अगर इसमें कोई आपराधिक पहलू है तो उसकी जांच सीबीआई करेगी। मंत्रालय तो इस तरह की जांच नहीं कर सकता है। पर्रिकर ने कहा यह भी कहा था, कि अगर यह मसला केवल प्रक्रिया से जुड़ा है तो रक्षा मंत्रालय आतंरिक जांच कर सकता है। आपको बता दें कि 2008 में तत्कालीन यूपीए सरकार के दौरान ब्राजील की एक कंपनी की ओर से एम्ब्रेयर एयरक्रॉफ्ट बनाने की डील हुई थी। 20 दशमलव आठ करोड़ डॉलर का यह सौदा विमान निर्माता एम्ब्रेयर और रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन के बीच हुआ था। करार के तहत पहला एयरक्रॉफ्ट भारत को 2011 में मिला और शेष दो एयरक्रॉफ्ट 2013 में मिला।
