हरियाणा के पानीपत की कंबल फैक्ट्रीर में शुक्रवार को मौत की आग भड़की...यहां भीषण आग ने ऐसा कहर बरपाया कि 8 मजदूरों की ज़िंदगी छिन गई..इस घटना में नौ मजदूर गंभीर रूप से घायल हुए हैं. घायलों को सिविल अस्प ताल में भर्ती कराया गया है. बताया जा रहा है कि पानीपत के कुराड़ गांव में एवीएस कंबल फैक्ट्रीा में शुक्रवार की शाम अचानक आग भड़क गई...हादसे के दौरान फैक्ट्री में 32 मजदूर काम कर रहे थे...आग लगते ही यहां कोहराम मच गया...आग इतनी तेजी से फैली कि वहां मौजूद मजदूरों को भागने का मौका ही नहीं मिला...और बुरी तरह झुलसने से 8 मजूदरों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई...इस घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही दमकल की गाड़ियां घटनास्थल पर पहुंची...और फैक्ट्री में फंसे मज़दूरों को बाहर निकाला...लेकिन तबतक काफी देर हो चुकी थी...फिलहाल आग लगने के कारणों का पता नहीं चल पाया है...लेकिन शुरूआती जांच में बताया जा रहा है कि शॉर्ट सर्किट के चलते भीषण आग लगी थी... वहीं जम्मू कश्मीर के नरवाल में तड़के झुग्गी बस्ती में भीषण आग लग गई..इस घटना में 3 लोगों की मौत हो गई...और करीब 6 लोग ज़ख्मी है..सभी घायलों का इलाज जम्मू के मेडिकल कॉलेज में चल रहा है...यहां आग ने 150 परिवारों को बेघर कर दिया है

Fire yet to be controlled at bio-diesel co: Visakhapatnam Duvvada SEZ Massive Fire Biodiesel Factory
A major fire that broke out at a bio-diesel manufacturing unit in Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone (VSEZ) in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday evening (April 26) is still raging even as hectic efforts are on to control it, officials said on Wednesday (April 27). Visakhapatnam District Collector N Yuvaraj, who was at the accident site, told PTI that nearly 40 fire fighting engines from Navy, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, and Port Trust were making all efforts to put out the fire, that erupted at the Bioxmax Fuels Ltd company premises in Duvvada area here at around 7.30 PM yesterday. No casualties were reported in the incident so far, he said, adding that the blaze occurred in the storage area and no worker was present in close proximity of the mishap site. Biomax Fuels Ltd has a manufacturing capacity of five lakh tonnes of bio-diesel from multi-feedstock at VSEZ. The Collector said out of 18 storage tanks located at the site, 12 caught fire. It is expected to be brought under control by this evening as the entire oil in the tanks has to burn completely, he said. The authorities are taking steps to avoid the fire from spreading to six other tanks which are there in the same area, he said. District Fire Officer J M Rao said they were yet to ascertain the cause of the massive blaze.

Delhi: Building collapses after fire at factory in Peera Garhi, 35 fire tenders rushed to spot
A building collapsed after a blast in a factory that caught fire in Delhi's Peera Garhi on Thursday morning, an official said. The fire department said they received a call around 4.23 am about a fire in the factory at Udoh Nagar area after which seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot, the official said. Later on, due to a blast, the building collapsed and people are trapped inside, including fire personnel, a senior fire official said. Total 35 fire tenders are working and the rescue operations are underway, he said.

- भारत और इंग्लैंड के बीच विशाखापत्तनम में खेले गए दूसरे टेस्ट मैच में भारत ने शानदार जीत दर्ज की है। मैच के पांचवे दिन भारत ने इंग्लैंड को 246 रनों से करारी शिक्सत दी। इस जीत के साथ ही भारत ने पांच मैचों की सीरीज में 1-0 से बढ़त बना ली है। वहीं अपनी धमाकेदार बल्लेबाजी से इंग्लैंड के सामने विशाल स्कोर खड़ा करने वाले भारतीय कप्तान विराट कोहली को मैन ऑफ द मैच घोषित किया गया। मैच में पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए भारत ने 455 रनों का स्कोर बनाया था। वहीं जवाब में इंग्लैंड टीम 255 रनों पर ऑलआउट हो गई। इसके बाद दूसरी पारी में बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी टीम इंडिया ने 204 रनों का स्कोर बनाया और इस तरह टीम इंडिया को 404 रनों की विशाल बढ़त मिल गई। चौथी पारी में लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी इंग्लैंड टीम 158 रनों पर ही सिमट गई और भारत ने यह मैच 246 रनों के विशाल अंतर से जीत लिया। आपको बता दें कि आर अश्विन ने पहली पारी में बेहतरीन गेंदबाज़ी करते हुए पांच विकेट हासिल किए थे, जबकि दूसरी पारी में 3 विकेट हासिंल किए। वहीं पहला टेस्ट खेले रहे स्पिनर जयंत यादव ने कुल 4 विकेट लिए, जबकि मोहम्मद शमी और रवींद्र जडेजा ने 2-2 विकेट चटकाए।
