പേരിടാത്ത രവിവര്‍മ്മ ചിത്രം ലേലത്തിന്...!!!
രവിവര്‍മ്മയുടെ ഛായം വീണ ആ പേരിടാത്ത ചിത്രത്തം ലേലത്തിനൊരുങ്ങുന്നു
വിഖ്യാത ചിത്രകാരന്‍ രാജാ രവി വര്‍മ്മയുടെ പേരിടാത്ത ഒരു ചിത്രം അമേരിക്കയില്‍ ലേലത്തിന് ഒരുങ്ങുന്നു. പരമാവധി 4 കോടി രൂപവരെയെങ്കിലും വിലമതിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രം ലേലം ചെയ്യുന്നത് ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്കിലെ സോത്ത്ബി കമ്പനിയാണ്. തിലോത്തമ എന്നാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ പേര്. ഇത് പക്ഷേ ഔദ്യോഗികമായ പേരല്ല. മാര്‍ച്ച് 19ന് ആണ് ലേലം. ഏതാണ്ട് 1896ല്‍ ആണ് ഈ ചിത്രം വര്‍മ്മ വരച്ചതെന്നാണ് കരുതപ്പെടുന്നത്. അപ്‌സരസായ തിലോത്തമയെ അര്‍ധ നഗ്‌നയായാണ് വരച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ബ്രഹ്മാവ് ജീവന്‍ നല്‍കിയ ശേഷം ആകാശത്ത് നിന്ന് ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക് പറന്നിറങ്ങുന്ന തിലോത്തമയെ ആണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തില്‍ കാണുന്നത്.വെസ്റ്റേണ്‍ അക്കാദമിക് റിയലിസം ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ പരീക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ എന്നാണ് സോത്ത്ബി വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. 1979ല്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ പൊതുസ്വത്ത് ആയി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചതാണ് രവി വര്‍മ്മയുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍. ഈ ചിത്രങ്ങളൊന്നും ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ നിന്ന് കയറ്റിയയ്ക്കാന്‍ അനുമതിയില്ല.അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ഈ ലേലം വളരെ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ളതായി കണക്കാക്കുന്നു.രവി വര്‍മ്മയുടെ ദമയന്തി 1.7 ദശലക്ഷം ഡോളറിന് മുന്‍പ് വിറ്റുപോയിരുന്നു.
