एंकर - उत्तर प्रदेश की बेसिक शिक्षा मंत्री के जिले में सर्वशिक्षा अभियान को पलीता लगाया जा रहा है। इस अभियान के तहत सब पढ़ें, सब बढ़ें का नारा गांव-गांव गूंज रहा है। नारा सुंदर भी है, मगर सवाल है कि जब विद्यालय में पढ़ने के लिए आने वाले बच्चों से ठेलिया से सिलेंडर ढुलाया जाएगा तो कैसे पढ़ेगा इंडिया, कैसे बढ़ेगा इंडिया। बहराइच जिले के रिसिया ब्लॉक के प्राथमिक विद्यालय भैंसाही की इस तस्वीर को गौर से देखें। छात्र-छात्राएं मजदूरों की तरह ठेलिया पर सिलेंडर ढो रहे हैं। ऐसे में इनका भविष्य कैसे सुधरेगा? इससे जिम्मेदार बिल्कुल अनजान हैं।

वीओ - 1 - रिसिया ब्लॉक के प्राथमिक विद्यालय भैंसाही में पढ़ लिखकर अपना भविष्य संवारने के सपना लेकर आने वाले बच्चों से ठेलिया से सिलेंडर ढुलाने का कार्य कराया जा रहा है। यहां अध्ययनरत बच्चों को पढ़ाने का बीड़ा उठाने वाले शिक्षकों की बेपरवाही साफ नजर आ रही है। जिन बच्चों को काॅपी, किताब से ककहरा सीखना है वह ठेलिया से मध्याह्न भोजन के इंतजाम के लिए गैस सिलेंडर ढो रहे हैं। यहां चार शिक्षकों की तैनाती है। इसके बावजूद मासूमों का भविष्य दांव पर है।

    Manama: Security forces at the Grand Mosque in Makkah said that the man they had arrested next to the Kaaba on Monday evening was trying to kill himself and not attempting to set the sacred cubic structure ablaze as reported.

    The man, identified by the security forces as a Saudi national in his 40s, was dousing himself in gasoline when he was caught, Major Sameh Al Salmi, the spokesman for the forces said.

    "He was held before he went on with his dramatic self-immolation act and his behaviour indicates that he is mentally ill. All the necessary measures will be taken," the spokesman said, quoted by Saudi news site Sabq.
