Earlier to avail the Net banking facility, one was required to visit the branch to activate it. Now, if you do not have the time to visit the branch, you can simply register for the Net banking facility from home, completely online. Here is how you can do it.

    നിലവില്‍ നെറ്റ് ബാങ്കിങ് സേവനം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് വെബ്സൈറ്റില്‍ ലോഗിന്‍ ചെയ്ത് മൊബൈല്‍ നമ്പര്‍ അക്കൗണ്ടുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കാമെന്നും സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ബാങ്ക് അറിയിച്ചു.

    നെറ്റ് ബാങ്കിങ് തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടാലും മൊബൈല്‍ നമ്പര്‍ നല്‍കാത്തവര്‍ക്കും അക്കൗണ്ട് വഴിയുളള ഇടപാടുകളും എടിഎം കാര്‍ഡുമെക്കെ തടസ്സമില്ലാതെ ഉപയോഗിക്കാനാകും.


    മൈ അക്കൗണ്ട്സ് ആന്‍ഡ് പ്രൊഫൈല്‍ എന്ന ടാബില്‍ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താല്‍ തുറന്ന് വരുന്ന ഡ്രോപ്പ് ഡൗണ്‍ മെനു വഴി മൊബൈല്‍ നമ്പര്‍ അക്കൗണ്ടില്‍ ചേര്‍ത്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കാനാകും.

    SBI used to charge Rs. 2 for fund transfers up to Rs. 10,000 through NEFT using internet or mobile banking modes. Now that has been reduced to Rs 1 (excluding 18 per cent GST). For NEFT transactions from Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 lakh, the charge has been reduced to Rs. 2 from Rs. 4 earlier. Similarly, SBI has revised its fees for fund transfers between Rs 2 lakh and Rs 5 lakh through RTGS on its net and mobile banking platform, to Rs 5. This charge was Rs 20 earlier.
