Sebi approves framework for issuance of DVR shares, tightens disclosure norms for pledged shares
The Sebi board on Thursday enhanced disclosure norms for promoters’ pledged shares, tightened royalty payment rules for companies and lowered sectoral cap on liquid funds. The board of the markets regulator, Securities Exchange Board of India, which met in Mumbai on Thursday, also approved a framework for issuance of shares with differential voting rights (DVRs) for tech companies listing on Indian exchanges.
