नगर परिषद हमीरपुर के कार्यालय में नगर परिषद द्वारा बैठक का आयोजन किया गया जिसकी अध्यक्षता नगर परिषद की अध्यक्षा सलोचना ने की। इस बैठक में राज्य सरकार द्वारा दिए गए आदेशानुसार हमीरपुर के सभी नगर निकायों में विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के उपलक्ष पर हर दिन तीन बिन के आधार पर एक विशेष 20 दिवसीय कार्यक्रम चलाया जाएगा जिसमें 25 तारीख तक विभिन्न प्रकार की गतिविधिया शहरी समुदाय के अलग अलग वर्गों के याथ आयोजित की जाएगी जिसमें सफाई से सम्बंधित रैलियां निकाली जाएंगी और चुनिंदा स्थानों पर सफाई अभियान लगाए जाएंगे
