    यावेळी जामखेड तालुका पत्रकार संघाचे अध्यक्ष नासीर पठाण, उपाध्यक्ष अशोक निमोणकर, नासिर सय्यद, संजय वारभोग, याशिन शेख, लियाकत शेख, मैनुद्दीन तांबोळी, अशोक वीर, बाळासाहेब वराट, समीर शेख, दत्तराज पवार, संतोष थोरत, नंदू परदेशी, प्रकाश खंडागळे, सुजित धनवे, अनिल धोत्रे, फारूख शेख, पोपट गायकवाड, पप्पूभाई सय्यद, बाळासाहेब शिंदे, नाशिर सय्यद, धनसिंग साळुंके आदी पत्रकार मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थिती होते.
    समाजहितासाठी आपल्या प्राणाची पर्वा न करता जणतेचे प्रश्न भ्रष्टाचार व अन्यायाला वाचा फोडण्याचे काम करणाऱ्या आणि लोकशाहीचा चौथा स्तंभ असणाऱ्या पत्रकारांवर आजच्या घडीला अशा गावगुंडांकडून जिवितास धोका निर्माण झाला आहे. आणि भविष्यातही अशा घटना घडण्याची शक्यता नाकारता येत नाही. त्यामुळे सदरील गावगुंडांकडून पत्रकार संदीप महाजन यांच्यावरील हल्ल्याच्या जामखेड तालुक्यातील सर्व पत्रकार बांधवांच्या वतीने निषेध करण्यात येत आहे. आणि सदरील गावगुंडांना तात्काळ अटक करून कठोर कारवाई करावी. व आमच्या पत्रकारांच्या भावना शासन दरबारी मांडाव्यात अशी मागणी उपस्थित पत्रकारांनी दिलेल्या निवेदनात केली आहे.
    तसेच यावेळी अशोक निमोणकर, नासिर पठाण, संजय वारभोग, नंदू परदेशी, मौहिद्दीन तांबोळी, संतोष थोरात यांनी आपल्या मनोगतातून निषेध व्यक्त करत संबंधित गुन्हेगारांवर कठोर कारवाईची मागणी केली. तसेच आमदार रोहित पवारांनी ही या घटनेचा निषेध करत आपली प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त केली .
    यावेळी आपल्या मागण्या शासनाकडे पोहोचवल्या जातील असे अश्वासन तहसिलदार योगेश चंद्रे यांनी उपस्थित पत्रकारांना दिले. तसेच यावेळी पोलीस निरीक्षक महेश पाटील हेही उपस्थित होते . . प्रतिनिधी
