लोकसभा में आज सांसद ई अहमद की मौत के मामले पर जमकर हंगामा हुआ, जिसके बाद लोक सभा को स्थगित कर दिया गया. इससे पहले कांग्रेस और अन्य विपक्षी दलों के सदस्यों ने इस मामले पर संसद भवन परिसर में प्रदर्शन भी किया. कांग्रेस और लेफ्ट फ्रंट नें ई अहमद की मौत की जांच की मांग को लेकर गांधी प्रतिमा पर प्रदर्शन किया. राहुल गांधी भी इस प्रदर्शन में शामिल थे. इन नेताओं की मांग है कि ई अहमद की मौत की जांच होनी चाहिए कि आखिर अहमद की मौत किस वक्त हुई और परिजनों को मिलने क्यों नहीं दिया गया. साथ ही परिवार को परेशानी हुई है, उसके लिए जिम्मेदार कौन है. लोकसभा में भी सांसद केसी वेणुगोपाल और प्रेमा चंद्रन ने ई अहमद की मौत की जांच को लेकर काम रोको प्रस्ताव भी दिया है. सांसद प्रेमा चंद्रन ने ई अहमद की मौत के मामले में अस्पताल प्रशासन पर अनादर और मौत की सूचना देने में देरी का आरोप लगाया है.
