Sartaz Aziz says that Pakistan has more credentials than India to be a member of NSG. Pakistan's top Foreign Affairs Advisor Aziz says due to Pakistan's strong credentials, if India gains entry into the club, Pakistan will not be left behind.

    एनएसजी की सदस्यता के लिए भारत की राह आसान होती नज़र आ रही है, तो वहीं सदस्यआता पाने को मचल रहे पाकिस्ता।न की कोशिशों को झटका लगा है। एनएसजी की सदस्यता के लिए तैयार किए गए नए मसौदे में भारत को शामिल करने की बात कही गई और साथ ही पाकिस्तांन को इससे बाहर रखने की वकालत की गई है। दरअसल आर्म्स कंट्रोल एसोसिएशन यानी एसीए के मुताबिक एनएसजी के पूर्व चेयरमैन राफेल मेरियानो ग्रासी ने दो पन्नों का एक मसौदा तैयार किया है। ग्रासी ने यह दस्तावेज एनएसजी के अध्यक्ष दक्षिण कोरिया के सांग यंग वान की सलाह पर तैयार किया था इसलिए इसे अर्ध आधिकारिक स्तर हासिल है। ग्रासी के प्रस्ताव में कहा गया है कि एनएसजी समूह में शामिल होने के लिए आवेदन करने वाले गैर परमाणु अप्रसार संधि वाले देश एक दूसरे की सदस्यता को लेकर आपत्ति नहीं उठा सकते हैं। इसके साथ ही प्रस्ताव के मुताबिक भारत को एनएसजी से परमाणु सामग्री के व्यापार से संबंधित पहले से ही छूट मिली हुई है जिसकी वजह से उसकी दावेदारी बाकी देशों से ज्यादा मजबूत है। इसके साथ ही प्रस्ताव में परमाणु अप्रसार संधि से भारत को बाहर रखने और पाकिस्तान को शामिल करने की वकालत की गई है।
