शहडोल संसदीय क्षेत्र मे मतदान की शुरुआत अच्छी रही। मतदान के दौरान खुशी की लहर रही. मतदान के दौरान अर्जुन अवार्डी ओमकार सिंह के अलावा जिले के सभी प्रिंट और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मीडिया के लोगों ने मतदान किया। सभी लोगों ने लोकतंत्र को सशक्त करने हेतु सभी मतदाताओं से अनिवार्य रूप से वोट करने की अपील की. शहडोल लोकसभा सीट के लिए 13 प्रत्याशियों के बीच मुकाबला है। मुख्य मुकाबला बीजेपी प्रत्याशी हिमाद्री सिंह और कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी प्रमिला सिंह के बीच है। 5 महिला प्रत्याशियों के अलावा शहडोल संसदीय सीट से 5 निर्दलीय प्रत्याशी अपनी किस्मत आजमा रहे हैं।
