Kajar Bin Kare is homage to Ustad Sultan Khan. Salim Merchant had written this track with Sultan Khan and both he and Karsh felt strongly that it was the right kind of track to perform on Coke Studio @ MTV. Karsh had worked with Sultan Khan before as part of Tabla Beat Science. This song features Ustad Sultan Khan's son Sabir Khan on the saarangi in what is an emotional reminiscing of the time Karsh and Ust. Sultan Khan performed.

    This is a song about separation and missing one's lover. It talks about the pain of staying apart and the anxiety it brings. Peekaboo stands for the lovers finding each other by chance & their attempt then to try and ascertain the depth of love felt by the other. Worked up from a guitar groove by Warren Mendonsa, 'Peekaboo' features Apeksha Dandekar with guest vocals of Mandeep Sethi and Benny Dayal.

    Musically, Jayant sets an electronica groove which the band complements seamlessly. Ravi Chari's sitar parts sound magical over what is essentially a drum + bass palette, further highlighted by Shruti Pathak's vocals.

    A reworking of Leonard Cohen's classic song by the same name, Karsh's version is about the pain and glory of love. For this version, he enlists guitarist Warren Mendonsa's songwriting skills and incorporates the instrumental portion of Warren's 'Ode to a Sunny Day' which seemed to thematically match the mood of 'Halleluiah'.

    Shilpa Rao comes in on the Hindusthani bits with echoes of 'Jhoola', a song she grew up on. The beautiful song is marked by an epic guitar solo by Warren.
