Infosys Q2 results: Firm posts profit of Rs 4,019 cr
Infosys on Friday reported a 2.21 per cent year-on-year fall in consolidated profit at Rs 4,019 crore for the quarter ended September 30. The IT major had posted a profit of Rs 4,110 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Analysts in an ET NOW poll had projected a net of Rs 4,040.

Infosys Q3 profit misses Street estimates, firm announces share buyback
Infosys, India’s second largest IT firm, on Friday reported 29.62 per cent drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,610 crore for December quarter. The IT firm had posted Rs 5,129 crore profit in the corresponding quarter last year, the company said in a BSE filing. The company announced a share buyback under open market route of Rs 8,260 crore at a maximum price of Rs 800 per share. It also announced a special dividend of Rs 4 per share.

Infosys on Friday beat Street estimates to report a 23.49 per cent year-on-year rise in profit at Rs 4,457 crore compared with Rs 3,609 crore posted for the same quarter last year. Analysts in an ET NOW poll had estimated the number at Rs 4,204.50 crore.

TCS posts highest-ever profit in Q3 at Rs 8,105 crore
TCS, India’s largest IT firm by revenue, on Thursday reported a 24.1 per cent rise in YoY profit at Rs 8,105 crore for the December quarter.The IT major had reported Rs 6,531 crore profit in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter rose 20.80 per cent YoY to Rs 37,338 crore.

Bharti Airtel posts Rs 86 cr surprise profit for Q3 on one-time gain
Telecom operator Bharti Airtel Thursday reported a 72 per cent drop in consolidated net income for the three months ended December 2018 at about Rs 86 crore amid market turbulence triggered by cut-throat competition. The net income stood at Rs 306 crore in the same period of the previous year. Total revenue for the December 2018 quarter stood at Rs 20,519 crore, just 1 per cent higher than the Rs 20,319 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

In the video, the man is heard saying that he got oxygen supply from patients snapped for 5 mins. The man, in the video, added that this was part of an experiment to know who all will survive. Reports suggest the video is purportedly of Arinjay Jain, owner of Paras Hospital on NH 2. UP health dept has ordered a probe into the incident after the video went viral.
