RCEP दरअसल एक समझौता है जिस के जरिए 16 देशों के बीच एक एकीकृत बाजार जाएगा। इस समझौते से एक देश से दूसरे देशों में उत्‍पादों की पहुंच आसान हो जाएगी और व्‍यापार में आने वाली बाधाएं खत्‍म हो जाएंगी। साल 2013 से ही इस समझौते को लेकर चल रही है, लेकिन अब इसको अंतिम रूप देने की कवायद की जा रही है। इसको नवंबर में बैंकॉक में होने वाली समिट में अंतिम रूप दिया जाएगा, जिसमें पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी भी भाग लेंगे।

    India stood its ground at RCEP negotiations and in the national interest decided not to join the China-led mega trade pact, said Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday.
