Bajaj auto is back with electric scooter Chetak

Pune-based Bajaj Auto Limited (BAL) Wednesday forayed into the electric two-wheeler market with iconic scooter Chetak.Apart from India, the new Chetak will be sold in relevant markets in Europe starting next year. BAL Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj said as far as volumes are concerned, the company will continue to focus on motorcycles, but as far as meaningful niches are concerned Bajaj will work on developing electric vehicles.
