Finally, the Delhi High Court has expressed the need for a "good" and "model" law for regulating app-based cab services, like Ola and Uber, as it will be helpful to the people and would bring in more clarity. The court has said that till the panel comes out with its "model law", the app-based cab companies will have to abide by the rates stipulated by the Delhi government. According to the prescribed rates, fare for Economy Radio Taxi is Rs 12.50 per km, while it is Rs 14 per km for non-AC black and yellow top taxi and Rs 16 per km for AC black and yellow.

    ഉപയോക്താക്കള്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന കണ്ടന്‍റില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ആപ്പുകളില്‍ 50 ലക്ഷത്തിന് മുകളില്‍ സ്ഥിരം സന്ദര്‍ശകര്‍ ദിവസം ഉണ്ടെന്നാണ് കണക്ക്. ഈ കമ്പനികളെല്ലാം ഇന്ത്യ ഓഫിസ് തുടങ്ങണമെന്നും നിയമപരമായ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ പരിഹരിക്കാൻ വഴിയൊരുക്കണമെന്നുമാണ് കേന്ദ്രത്തിന്റെ നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങളിലൊന്ന്. സോഷ്യൽ ആപ്പുകളായ ടിക് ടോക്, ഹെലോ, ലൈക്, വിഗോ വിഡിയോ തുടങ്ങി ആപ്പുകൾക്ക് ഇന്ത്യയിൽ പ്രവര്‍ത്തികണമെങ്കിൽ ചില നിയമങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കേണ്ടിവരും. ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ച വിശദമായ റിപ്പോർട്ട് തയാറാക്കുന്നുണ്ട് കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാര്‍.

    Tech giants Google and Apple have removed TikTok from their app stores after the Supreme Court refused to stay Madras High Court order asking the Centre to prohibit the download of the Chinese social media platform. A search for video sharing platform TikTok on Google's Play Store and Apple's App Store did not show the app. The government, on Monday, had asked tech giants Google and Apple to comply with the Madras High Court's order that had banned popular mobile app TikTok, according to sources.
